Is parking available?

While there is no dedicated parking lot, there are several nearby parking lots and street parking options available. All parking requires hourly payments, which can be conveniently made through the Hotspot app.

Yes, the building is fully accessible, including entry, elevator and washrooms.

We accept payments through credit card, e-transfer, cash, and direct insurance billing if the benefits provider is registered with Telus e-claims and has approved services provided as eligible for submission (this is out of Lynn’s hands and solely dependent on their provider).

Unfortunately no. For individual therapy, Lynn has a waitlist and is unable to predict the wait time as it often changes. Lynn does welcome all interested future clients to add their name to her waitlist. You can do this by reaching out to her through this website. 

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Lynn encourages you to book a free 15-minute discovery session with her to ask questions and see if her approach feels right for you. Interviewing multiple therapists is a natural part of the process, and finding the right fit is crucial. It’s important to feel safe, comfortable and confident in your therapist’s skills and approach. Take your time—this is an essential step in your journey, and it’s worth the effort.

Q1. Is your Navigating the Ontario public school system when ADHD and common co-morbidities are present offered both in-person and virtually?

A1. Yes. At this time, the in-person group is only offered in Peterborough. Participating virtually is available to any interested person in Ontario. To add your name to the waitlist, please visit Lynn’s online booking app or send her an email, and indicate if you would like to be part of the in-person or virtual group.

Q2. Do I have to pay if I add myself to the waitlist for Navigating the Ontario public school system when ADHD and common co-morbidities are present groups?

A2. Expressing interest is not considered enrolment. Once the minimum number of participants is reached, Lynn will send out the dates of the sessions, and if you want to participate, an enrolment fee is required to secure your spot.

Q3. 10 sessions, each 2 hours in length, will be offered to you.

Q4. Will benefits cover the fees associated with the group, Navigating the Ontario public school system when ADHD and common co-morbidities are present?

Q4. Likely, but you will have to check with your benefits provider to know for sure. Many plans cover psycho-educational groups facilitated by a professional holding an MSW degree.

Q5. When can I join the group?

A5. The ADHD group is a closed group which means that it is only offered on specific dates. Please add your name to the waitlist as this helps Lynn determine the timing of each group offering.

Q6. Do I have to pay the full enrolment fee in a single payment?

A6. No. 50% is due at the time of enrolment and 50% is due prior to session number 5.

Q7. What happens if I miss a session?

A7. I understand that sometimes our plans change and we have to adjust. To protect privacy, the group sessions are not recorded, and therefore there is no way to ensure you will receive the information missed. If resources were shared during the session, Lynn will do her best to share the resources with you.
